Calling all hunters! Whether you bow hunt or rifle hunt, this series is for you!
Hunting requires various skills and movements, that many of us to do not do or practice on a regular basis. Examples include:
-Hiking quietly with a pack on over uneven, varied terrain and sloped surfaces
-Crossing fence lines, down trees and waterways
-Crouching, squatting, crawling or sitting in various, sometimes awkward positions for extended periods of time
-Leaning over an animal to dress it and then carrying out or dragging large amounts of weight
-Holding your bow or rifle up for an extended period of time
-Stilling your mind and quieting your breath to take your shot
…This is where our Yoga for Hunters series comes in! We will uses various poses, exercises and movements to help you strengthen and increase mobility in target body areas used in hunting, we will work on improving your balance and proprioception to help prevent falls and injuries, and we will incorporate breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to help you stay focused and calm when you’re ready to take your shot.
This series will consist of 5 weeks of classes leading up to the start of bow hunting season.
Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30p.

8/8- Mobility
8/15- Balance and Proprioception
8/22- Breathing
8/29- Mindfulness and Visualization

This pass breaks down to 5 weeks of unlimited in-studio classes for only ~$11.50 a class if you attend 2 classes a week.

This pass breaks down to 5 weeks of unlimited in-studio classes for only ~$8.50 a class if you attend 2 classes a week.

~Yoga for Hunters Drop-in Pass: $18 a class
If you can’t make all of the series classes, then simply purchase a single class at a time. You can pay ahead online or pay when you arrive to class.
Emily will be leading this series. She grew up hunting in Wisconsin with her parents. She has lived and been both bow and rifle hunting in MT for about 12 years. She still loves to hunt with her parents, her husband and friends while explore new landscapes in MT. Her passion for yoga, hunting, endurance sports, and injury prevention makes her the perfect teacher for this series.
