Experience Helena

The Helena Experience—it means something different for every person. The town perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the west, serving as the ultimate backdrop for adventure. But the adventure itself is completely up to you. In search of a pulse-pounding encounter with nature? There are 75 miles of nearby trails waiting to be explored or biked – and those are just the ones that start downtown. Maybe you’re a student of culture, eager for any opportunity to absorb some history?  All across town, you’ll come across historic roots that reach back hundreds of years – from Carroll College, to the Mansion District, to the Montana State Capitol building. And if you’re looking for a total escape, a chance to make a complete break from the concrete and steel? You’ll be within driving distance of two of America’s most breathtaking National Parks. Catch a fish, drink a beer, and listen to some great live music. Helena was founded by those who wanted to write their own story. And now, we believe you should be able to do the same.

So plan a trip today. We’re excited to have you!

The Myrna Loy

The Myrna Loy mission is to engage our community— enrich, educate, entertain and empower—through the arts.

Screening independent films daily, live performances, alternating art exhibits, arts education experiences, community events, collaborations–it’s all here, at Helena’s community-fired culture center.

And you belong at the center of it!

The Myrna Pub is open daily.

A safe, friendly, low-key place to meet with friends, have a drink after work, or sneak in a snack and glass of wine before the show. The pub has great local beers, a nice selection of wines, and kombucha.

Happy Hour is 4:00-6:00 weekdays where you’ll find tap beer for $3 a glass, wine for $5, and free popcorn!
