The Buddha said, “my practice is the practice of non-practice.” Rest is essential for human health. Even in sleep, we can be restless. The practice of rest takes practice. Restorative yoga is not about stretching; it’s about resting.
During this two-hour guided practice, we will utilize blankets, bolsters, blocks and optional eye masks to position our bodies in ways that facilitate rest and relaxation. Dress comfortably to be most cozy.
The event will conclude with tea and a lite snack along with a fire ceremony to celebrate the Equinox and our transition to Spring.
