Montana Shakespeare in the Parks presents two FREE live performances:
Monday, July 31 – “The Three Musketeers,” by Alexandre Dumas, 6pm Anchor Park
Tuesday, August 1 – Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure,” 6pm Anchor Park
The Three Musketeers is a swashbuckling adventure story designed to engage all ages, especially our young people. “All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall.”
The second evening of live theater is “Measure for Measure,” which is listed as a comedy in Shakespeare’s canon. This play has both dramatic and thematic elements relevant to the 21st century for all audiences. The title comes from a Biblical passage: “Judge not, that ye be not judged, for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” (Matthew 7.1-2)
