At the age of 17, Scotty McCreery entered the limelight when he won “American Idol” in 2011. He made musical history when he became the youngest male artist of any genre, and the first country music artist ever, to have his debut album, “Clear as Day,” enter at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. That album became the best-selling solo album by a country artist in 2011.
With five consecutive No. 1 hits to his credit, McCreery will be inducted into the Grand Old Opry family in April 2024. Scheduled for release in early May 2024, his fifth studio album Rise and Fall features 13 songs of storytelling encompassing rowdy nights, nostalgia, heartbreak, joy, and love.
