Super excited to announce we have finalized the lineup of presentations for the 2023 Gold Country Montana Master Gardener Symposium. MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Saturday, April 1, 2023 and make plans to join us on the Carroll College campus again.
We are excited to welcome Karen Chapman from LeJardinet Designs, a nationally-renowned author, and frequent speaker at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show, for two sessions — deer resistant design and gardening for foliage first.
Also we are pleased to welcome Dr. Stephen Love from the University of Idaho Aberdeen Extension and Research Center who will be speaking about best practices for growing roses in our area as well as how to execute your transition to xeriscaping.
As always we have great MSU Extension speakers on topics ranging from abiotic issues with trees, pruning, soil preparation, disease diagnosis, weed science, insects, and chlorosis, with featured speakers Sarah Eilers (the new Montana Master Gardener Coordinator), Abiya Saeed, Lauren Kerzicnik, Mat Walter, Sandy Perrin, Patrick Mangan, and Allison Kosto.
This year you can get your flower fix on all things iris, peony, rose, dahlia and cut flowers with experienced growers/speakers from Eagle Ridge Irises, Private Stock Perennials, and Gardenwerks.
