Some of Tselote Holley’s newest works will be unveiled for their first public viewing. These pieces were completed during her stay as a Resident Facilitator at Cottonwood’s summer camp. She painted, punched and pasted her work between adventures exploring the Montana landscapes with Cottonwood’s young people.
Tselote is an artist who primarily focuses on painting, clay sculptures and collage. Her ancestors derive from Ethiopia, Puerto Rico, and Norfolk, Virginia. This connection influences Tselote’s style and intuition during the making process. Bold lines, patterns and feminine forms are found throughout her artwork.
