Governor’s Cup Marathon June 8 – 9, 2024

Runners looking for a traditional road race, mark your calendar for Montana’s most iconic marathon. A community tradition for 50 years, racers travel across the globe to celebrate running, beautiful landscapes, and fitness. The course starts in the Elkhorn Mountains and graces the Montana State Capitol with an exhilarating finish in Helena’s historic downtown. Come join us!

Helenduro – June 28 – 29, 2024

Mountain bikers pack the cowbell and a little “Hel-Ya” with Montana Bicycle Guild’s first stop of the Montana enduro circuit. The race attracts visitors from Canada to Vegas with an insatiable need to climb, jump, and rip lines through Helena’s IMBA-Silver Level trail system. Helena’s mountain bike community shines through the volunteers and spectators. Come and be part of an exhilarating weekend in Helena.

York 38 Special – August 17, 2024

On the outskirts of town, an old mining town in the Big Belt Mountains hosts a wildly spirited thirty-eight-mile bike race. The race meanders along beautiful canyons and creeks. The race includes a variety of terrain, gravel, asphalt, road, and single track. Pack up the gear for a spectacular outing to watch or participate in this unspoiled bike race.
