The transitional days of Sundays and Mondays are days of rest and reset for many of Helena’s businesses and attractions. We invite you to do the same. Take the time to slow down and unwind. Here’s our top five recommendations of some unexpected opportunities Sunday, Monday and any other day you feel called to do something out of the ordinary.

Spring Meadow Lake State Park offers views and water access.

Pack a picnic and choose from vantage points on the South Hills Trail System including Mt. Helena and Mt. Ascension or Spring Meadow Lake State Park. The local market Real Food Market & Deli offers a salad and hot bar Monday – Friday and grab & go deli selections seven days a week.

Bonus: The Archie Bray Foundation is located a short distance from Spring Meadow Lake State Park on the west side of town. Open seven days a week during daylight hours for a self-guided tour through fanciful creations of the ceramic artists who have been a part of the craft community over the years.

Broadwater Hot Springs offers brunch Saturdays and Sundays. Nestled in a beautiful corridor a short drive from the city center, Broadwater offers a multitude of hot and cool pools to dip in, along with dry and wet saunas. Self-care and fun make a splash into one experience.

One of Helena’s most delightful new additions, the Bert & Ernies Pedal Pub offers historical tours and brewery tours. The tours are offered seven days a week and can be organized with two days’ notice.
