This ARTS Lecture will show the amazing process of handwriting Calligraphy on genuine vellum. Professional calligrapher, Holly Monroe will share her process for designing, lettering and painting a 144 page book that took over 12 years via a digital presentation. This beautiful Modern Book of Hours, patterned after books of Medieval times, is illuminated on each page with 24k gold leaf, written and illustrated with detailed poems and writings about “time”.
