Saged Brush

Lewis & Clark Tap Room - Helena, MT

Saged Brush is a trio band consisting and featuring Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, Luke Basile; drummer/percussionist, Gary Stivers; and front man-lead vocalist/guitarist Ron Thomas (Montana boy-Anaconda native). This unique trio offers a great take on several genres, contemporary to classic.

Luke is a 10-year guitarist and ambassador for Breedlove Guitars, as well as lead sound/recording engineer for Rainmaker Studios in Tri-Cities, WA. He is an award-winning mix engineer (Downbeat Jazz 2018 & Univsion Latin Music Award 2017/2018). He has also delivered original compositions featured on “Fretboard Journal” and “Acoustic Voices” podcasts; music featured on NBC’s “Better Late Than Never”; recorded with actor/musician Jeff Bridges and has extensive sideman work throughout the Northwest Music Scene for the past 15 years, with countless artists. Gary brings an amazing sense of timing, creativity, dynamics and rhythm to the group. He has covered just about every genre imaginable, playing with established groups as a member and various ad hoc sit in sessions. His most recent band, Snacks at Midnight led him to explore creative composition with a group and record session experience. Finally, Ron brings a long history of a variety of music experiences from Rock with “Prowler” to broad acoustic focused multi-genre music of “Chalkline”. This group offers a palate-pleasing set of music that is perfect for most any audience. They have years of experience playing at winery/brewery venues in the state of Washington, and look forward to bringing some music to the great state of Montana.
