This year’s theme: Retro-futurism
which is: a future imaged through the “lens of the past”. Can include but is not limited to styles like cyberpunk, steampunk, dieselpunk, atompunk, and Raygun gothic. At its core, its a mix of new and old technologies and what we imagine our futures could be like.
Pop culture examples: the Jetsons, Back to the Future, Star Trek, The Incredibles.
