Mobile art is defined as abstract sculptures that have moving parts, driven either by motors or the natural force of wind.
Join mobile artist Ann Wilsnack for a class that explores color and composition while encouraging contemplation and playfulness in mobile making! In this class, Ann will share her knowledge as mobile artist as participants create a mobile from single-use plastics. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials as well as pull from Ann’s collection in creating their compositions. At the end of the class, take home a completed mobile ready to be hung in a special place for you to watch and observe as it moves with the kinetic energy of the wind.
