SUMMER SUNDAY AFTERNOON HISTORIC WALKING TOURS
The Lewis and Clark County Historical Society is hosting summer historic walking tours in collaboration with the City of Helena/Lewis and Clark County Heritage Tourism Council (HTC) on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m.; $5/person, children are free. Wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunblock and bring water. No reservations are required. Tours can be scheduled at other times for groups of 5+; please call 447.8357 or email [email protected].
Sundays in July (July 6, 13, 20, 27) – Lost Glories, Living Legends. Explore Helena’s early Upper West Side before the mansions were there. The tour is a step back to the 1880’s, Helena’s golden age, a time of tremendous growth and prosperity. Park in the north parking lot (on Lawrence St.) of the City-County Building, 316 N. Park Ave.; meet at the northwest corner of the City-County Building.
