Hiking in Bear Country

Are you “bear aware?” Join one of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ bear awareness instructors to learn where bears can be encountered, how to avoid encounters, how to deal with encounters, how to avoid attracting bears to a campsite and how to use bear spray. We’ll hike one mile (round trip) to Rodney Meadow and back, and spend about 90 minutes together. The trail has some steady incline. Ages 12 and up, please.
