Who doesn’t love a garden party at a historic mansion? Join MTHS on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tours, treats, and music at the Original Governor’s Mansion (304 N. Ewing) in Helena. The stunning Queen Anne-style mansion, which served Montana’s First Families from 1913 to 1959, will be open for self-guided tours; light refreshments will be served on the lawn. From 10 a.m. to noon, enjoy the delightful melodies of the Dolce String ensemble. The event is free and open to the public.
Please note: The mansion is not ADA compliant. There are stairs to the front porch and two flights of stairs inside the house.
