Helena’s EAA Chapter 334, a group of local pilots and aviation enthusiasts is partnering with the Commemorative Air Force’s summer tour to allow the public the chance to get up close and personal with the two World War II bombers, the B-25 Mitchell “Maid in the Shade”, and B-17 Superfortress “Sentimental Journey”. These aircraft travel across the country each summer stopping to give rides to the public and allowing aviation enthusiasts the chance to see these rare bombers in person. The Bombers & BBQ dinner will allow ticket holders inside the fence at the Helena Regional Airport to have dinner in a hangar and see these incredible aircraft up close. Get your tickets today for this unique event. Adult tickets are $20 each, and children 12 and under are free. Proceeds from this event support Helena’s EAA Chapter 334.
