Join us for an unforgettable experience under the vast Montana sky! MLC invites the public to Beyond the Big Sky – Eclipse Edition on Canyon Ferry Lake for Saturday, October 14th from 9AM to 12PM (weather permitting).
At Beyond the Big Sky – Eclipse Edition, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the phenomenon of a solar eclipse in all its glory. Bring your family and friends to this once-in-a-lifetime event and enjoy a morning filled with excitement and wonder. From the moment the Moon begins to cast its shadow on the Sun, you’ll be captivated by the beauty and grandeur of this celestial spectacle.
Participants will each receive a pair of solar eclipse shades and be given an enhanced and enchanting experience of the eclipse. With MLC’s stellar activities and viewings of the Sun through state-of-the-art telescopes, prepare to witness the breathtaking solar eclipse and immerse yourself in a morning full of wonder and learning. Our telescopes allow you to see details on the Sun that aren’t capable of being seen with the naked eye, letting you receive a perspective of the eclipse like never before.
The October 14th eclipse will start at 9:11AM. Max coverage will occur at 10:27AM with the phenomenon ending at 11:50AM.
Parking for Beyond the Big Sky – Eclipse Edition will begin at 8:30AM.
Tickets cost $25 per adult and $15 per child ages 12 and up.
