    • We would absolutely love to greet you and your traveling furry four legged companion. Located in historic Reeder’s Alley where you can also grab a meal from Rockstarr BBQ and enjoy the views out on the porch.
  • The Archie Bray Foundation
    • Dogs on leash are welcome to explore the historic and vibrant grounds of The Archie Bray Foundation. However, with the exception of service dogs, dogs can not enter the buildings. Fun fact: The Bray is located right next to Tenmile Creek Trail!
  • The Myrna Loy
    • The Myrna Loy Pub welcomes dogs on leash while their humans enjoy drinks, popcorn and snacks as-well-as a stroll through the Jailhouse Gallery. Call to ask about movie going prior to bringing your pup — dogs must be on best behavior not to disrupt other moviegoers.
  • The Great Northern Carousel
    • A dog-friendly eatery serving ice cream in a fun, upbeat, environment. Dog owners wanting to watch the world-class, hand-carved, carousel whirl by can do so alongside Fido at one of its six outdoor tables.

  • Downtown Helena Farmer’s Market
    • Dogs are allowed, however market organizers strongly suggest that dogs be left at home, especially during busy times. This is to help with crowd control and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all.

One of the best options for dog owners to enjoy a meal is to consider Last Chance Gulch historic Walking Mall located in the heart of downtown. These options allow for you to enjoy food and beverage out on the walking mall by grabbing it to go. Keep pups outdoors while popping inside to place orders.

    • With plenty of shady spots right out front, be sure to pop in and place an order to be enjoyed outside with your furry companion.
  • The Rialto
    • Pups on-leash are welcomed on the outdoor patio in front or the back.
  • Ten Mile Creek Brewery
    • Pups on-leash are welcomed on the outdoor patio in front.
  • The Hawthorn Tasting Room and Bottle Shop
    • Dogs won’t be able to be on the porch with the amount of activity and limited space, but be sure to grab a table on the walking mall. Order from a great selection of wine and small bites to go as you relax nearby.
  • Big Dipper Ice Cream
    • With plenty of shady spots right out front, be sure to pop in and place an order to be enjoyed outside with your furry companion.
  • Brothers Tapworks
    • A great spot to enjoy beer and flatbreads, or order a meal at Windbag Saloon to be enjoyed with a Tapwork’s beer. The additional perk is the children’s store, Lasso The Moon, right there for kids to pop in and enjoy.

The Last Chance Walking Mall also has several dog waste stations equipped with dog waste bags set next to trash cans. Please pick up after your pup so all can enjoy our beautiful downtown.

Helena also has plenty of great businesses that support the inclusion of well behaved, leashed dogs.
