Locally Grown, Live Theatre Founded in 1975, Grandstreet is one of the oldest and largest theatres in Montana. Our goal is to brighten Helena, Montana and elevate the human spirit through live theatre and theatre education. Grandstreet is Montana’s premiere community theatre with over 40 years of continuous service. Sustained by volunteers from an exceptionally talented population, Grandstreet also trains over 400 K-12 students each year in our nationally recognized Grandstreet Theatre School. Each year we produce 10-12 plays and musicals in a beautifully preserved 200-seat turn-of-the-century romanesque granite church and an additional 45-seat black box studio.
