One of the absolute delights of any day is when I enjoy a delicious meal from one of Helena’s many great food trucks. Several local favorite lunch spots may have long wait times due to popularity, plus, with this amazing weather, let’s spend extra time catching sunlight! We are so grateful that Helena has some extraordinary food trucks that allow you some freedom, flexibility, and FLAVOR!
With food trucks, you can come as you are! It does not matter if you just got done hiking a trail, fishing the rivers, or anything else. They also allow you the option of grabbing a quick, but delicious, bite before you go out and enjoy the bountiful outdoor recreation opportunities that Helena has to offer. Many of our local events have food trucks for attendees to enjoy. It is like having multiple different restaurants in one place! It can definitely be a challenge to get everyone in your group to agree on where or what to eat, but now one of you can have BBQ, another Greek, and another Mexican.
There are always new food trucks popping up throughout Helena and the surrounding areas, so there’s always something new to try! Our local food trucks hold a special place in my heart. Many of them have smaller staff, just the owner(s) working, and many of them are family businesses. It is a truly unique experience to witness their passion for their food, but even more so their community. Operating a food truck and pleasing a variety of customers takes a lot of grit and determination, and we are so thankful for what they provide.
